Advice on how much to pay? For a pair of SRS3.1TLs

I have decided to take everyone's advice regarding speaker size (and availability)

What would you suggest a reasonable offer on a pair of SRS3.1TL speakers should be. Assuming very good to excellent (as new) condition?

Either set of speakers will be an entire weekend to pick up (I would never have any large speakers shipped).

    I'd say they'd be worth $750 - $800 if in great shape. Someone else might have a better idea since I haven't bought vintage Polk in over a year and not up on current pricing.

    I think you're making a good choice with the 3.1tl's.

    Agreed with above. I own a pair of 3.1TL's and would say they are worth around $600.00 if they are in good shape and unmodded. They are definately worth more ($750 to $800 or more) if they are modded with redone crossovers at a minimum. They are a couple hundred more at least if they have RDO-198 tweeters, Larry's rings, been dynamatted, new gaskets, etc. You will enjoy the 3.1TL's. They are very nice speakers.
