Anyone interested in iPad one or two. The best deal I found was at the apple wesite on refurbished . Along with discount price you get new battery and case and one year warranty- same as new! Adorama has all iPad three models - free shipping and no taxes to most states. Saved myself $49.00 on sales tax on the 64. Thanks. Darryl

    yeah i got my ipad 2 that way once they announced the new ipad .. at $350 for a as good as new ipad 2 I was quite happy.. even CNET recommends the apple refurbs and normally they don't recommend refurbs at all.

    Yes, the Apple Refurb store has stuff that often seems like new and carries warranty: http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/specialdeals/mac

    Only downside is that they have to charge sales tax.

    I had 2 new ipods that broke soon after purchase.

    I bought a refurbed ipod 3 years ago and it's been fine ever since.

    *knocks on wood.

    I love refurbs! I just got my refurb Escort 8500 radar detector from the factory today, too!
