Looking for an amp/mini-amp

Hi everyone.

I'm new to the forum, I actually decided to register as I need some help. First of all, I barely have any knowledge regarding audio hardware since I'm more of a computer guy. Hehe

I guess since the help I need is regarding my brothers' old pair of M5Jrs, I figured alot of you might be able to help me. It's just been lying around collecting dust, and the last time I tested it with a receiver about a month ago they worked great. So now I'm interested in purchasing an amp so I can use these speakers on my rig.

I've been looking through Amazon and ran across this Lepai Tripath Class-T Hi-Fi Audio Mini Amplifier with Power Supply

Would it be enough to power the speakers, I'd really like something light as well? Any suggestions would be great. I'd like to place my budget at $60, hopefully less, and as much as possible stick with Amazon.

Thanks!

P.S. I've searched the forums for the correct subforum, so I'm not sure if I've placed this post in the correct place. Please move it if I'm mistaken.

My son uses a Lepai amplifier all the time. He likes to restore old speakers and when he's out in the garage on the work bench, the little amp comes in handy for testing speakers. He hooked it up in the family room one time with a pair of Altec Lansing 839A speakers from 1969 and it sounded great.
