Audio Research SP9 MKiii

I know a fellow audiophile that is dying of lung cancer and is moving his stuff.I picked up a mint VPI Scout myself.
Not sure if this against the rules but i'm trying to help him.
He has this unit and some other stuff and i told them i would see if there is any interest here.
If interested i will set you up with his buddy who is handling the shipping and finances.I have no skin in this.
They are asking $1000 for this and it is in great shape.

    Very sorry to hear about your friend. I just have a friend also passed away from cancer in the 40's. It is kind of sad.
    Do you know what color is this Sp9 MKIII, does it come with Phono?

    No experience with this particular model, but upgrading from a Parasound solid state preamp to my current ARC tubed preamp was the biggest upgrade a single component change has made in my system.

    Hey there falconcry72..what Parasound did you up-grade from and to which ARC did you get. What is the disposition of the Parasound, still got it?

    The Parasound was a P/LD-2000... top of the line for them during the HCA days. The ARC is an LS-15. I still have the Parasound and use it in a different setup. If you have any more questions I suggest we take it to PM so as not to disrupt Mr. Mike's for sale thread.:wink::biggrin:
