He's been conspicuously absent for quite a while now. I hope he's OK.

He's probably gone tinkering with his fancy car. I can picture him now at a set of lights revving up his engine with a base ball cap on backwards with one leather glove gripping the wheel

That's what I was thinking - 'cept I was seeing him more in a beret and wearing an ascot. -

I don't know. Last time I saw him he was with Carroll Baker at the supermarket and they were looking for the cheapest six-pack of beer they could find. -
I heard tell that he and RT1 may be together on some type of; let's just call it an adventure.>

As others have mentioned, the only leather he wears are his a$$less chaps. -
Any updates? I've pm'd a couple times with no response. Not like him.

Maybe you should check his gun forum, if you're a member, he might just be avoiding this place.

I only met one person in my entire life (think about how many people you've met) that could produce paperwork to back up his claim to be "fine".

Well, doro does carry around his discharge papers from the looney bin neatly folded up in his wallet.
He SAYS it's to show the cops so they don't put him back there.
But I think he just has it show off. You know like how some people say "Here, let me show you pictures of my kids!"?Expert Moron Extraordinaire

I heard that he was in Vegas, wearing nothing but his chaps, singing "It's Raining Men" while standing in the fountains as Caesar's Palace.

DABOYZ - I apologize ephatically for not getting back to you sooner but some things didn't happen offline concerning the speaker deal we had, that I fully expected to happen. That's completely my fault and I'll make sure it gets resolved. Again, sorry about the delay but have no doubt that I will make it good and ensure you are more than pleased.
Others - Thanks for the kind words. I had to get away for awhile and no it wasn't behind bars this time around. Work has been super busy and I've been working 20-40 hours OT every week if at all possible. I'll get back into the swing and start moving products around again in a more usual, doro-like fashion of the old days. Audio burned me out so I had to remove myself from the equation and get lost into work, of which actually pays me something other than self-gratification.
No worries, we'll be back up and running, demo's flying here, there and everywhere in no time. Thanks for being patient as always.
I did do a couple personal things while I was away and tinkering at home by cutting off all ties with the outside world....installed Eibach F&R sway bars, Eurocode silicon intercooler hoses w/ SS tbolt clamps, Eurocode intake hose w/ upgraded 3" turbo inlet, Eurocode drivetrain stabilizer(Alu-Kreuz), RS5 steering wheel, SLine door sills, CF plate delete, CF engine cover, tow hook license plate mount and last but not least HRE 3 Piece 295/25R21 wheels in matte black. I'm lowering it in a couple weeks on a possible Koni/Eibach combination and preparing the install of S5 brakes and rotors, plus S5 cabrio folding mirrors with Alu-Matt covers. Fellow Audi nerds will get some of that garbage and bullet statements

The wheels look so nice man. Real nice. You need to do something about those shoddy looking brakes now.
-
Yeah, no kidding. I picked up some S5 front brakes, so the hunt is one for the rears. Just put some mud flaps on the wife's ride, as well as some Brabus spacers front and rear to get the rims looking better and flush with the arches. I used 5mm on the front and 12mm on the rear. The rear spacers involved new bolts as well so I'll have to figure out what to do in regards to locks now.
Here's a pic of the Eurocode Alu-Kruez, drivetrain stabilizer underneath....it was very noticeable after the install, just like the sway bars. The stock ride was really quite unstable under serious cornering, very skittish and a bit bouncey which was a bit surprising but all of that is G O N E. It's super tight now and I can only imagine what it will be like when I get the springs installed with a small upgrade using OEM S5 shocks. I'm really not going to spend the money on anything more hardcore for shocks since I don't think the investment justifies the minute performance change. The S5 is valved better than the stock A5 so that should be enough.
