Need Help - DSW Pro 500 or DSW Pro 550wi?

Ok, I need some help. I ordered the DSW Pro 500 on Amazon and just got it tonight and realized they sent me the 550wi instead. I have read a lot of reviews about how great the 500 is, but the reviews aren't as great for the 550wi. I plan on having this wired, so the wireless is not too important to me. My concern is, is there a difference between these two other than the wireless? I noticed that the 500 is more expensive on Polk's site. I want to make sure that I am getting the product I paid for and if the 550wi is not as good, then I need to return it asap. Please help!
Thanks,

As far as I know the only difference is the wireless capability. Looking at the specs they look identical. I have not spent a lot of time with wireless subs but from what I heard of the 440wi at the lone star audio fest I liked it. If you wnat to confirm details I suggest calling Polk's excellent customer service to clarify. Otherwise why not give it a listen to see if you like it.AVR: Elite VSX-21TXH

Thanks MADGSF!
I called Polk and they said the 500 and the 550wi were identical except for the ability to be wireless. So I hooked up the new sub tonight and it adds so much more to my system. Can't wait to get my center channel and the surrounds. Then it will be complete. -
Glad to hear it, enjoy your new system!AVR: Elite VSX-21TXH
