I'm looking for an upgrade from the RT3 monitors I use in my 2-channel rig. If anyone has a pair of Polk RT-25i bookshelves in great shape that they could part with, please contact me here or PM.
TIA

I have a minty pair of RTi38's that I don't need if you are interested. I know they aren't RT25i's, but just throwing it out there to see if you might consider them. I have the original box, packing, etc. Black. PM me if you are interested. No hurry

I'll consider them if nothing comes up on the RT-25i front. Thanks Brock. As I'm sure you're aware, your comment about RT-25i in nearfield is what prompted my want ad.2.1: PC>Schiit Gungnir MB>Schiit Freya Noval>NAD C-270>Ascend Acoustics Sierra-1, HSU STF-2 5.1: HDMI Bitstream>Denon AVR-1910>polkaudio RTE55, CS350-LS, RT3, HSU STF-2, Visio M55-F0

Lol,
I bought RT25i's and RTi38's about the same time. The 25's work better for my situation. I currently don't have a need for the 38's. Not actively putting them in the FM, but if you are interested let me know. Like I said no hurry.

Thank you for the heads-up Lego1!
DSkip, do the non-i versions have the early tri-lam tweeter, or the black soft dome?2.1: PC>Schiit Gungnir MB>Schiit Freya Noval>NAD C-270>Ascend Acoustics Sierra-1, HSU STF-2 5.1: HDMI Bitstream>Denon AVR-1910>polkaudio RTE55, CS350-LS, RT3, HSU STF-2, Visio M55-F0 -
The latter.
I'm going to hold out a while for the tri-lams. I have the black domes on my RT3s and they seem to roll off a bit in the upper frequencies. Thanks though, I will keep those in mind.2.1: PC>Schiit Gungnir MB>Schiit Freya Noval>NAD C-270>Ascend Acoustics Sierra-1, HSU STF-2 5.1: HDMI Bitstream>Denon AVR-1910>polkaudio RTE55, CS350-LS, RT3, HSU STF-2, Visio M55-F0 -

Enjoy, they are excellent speakers. Perhaps one of the best in the RTxxi line, IMO."Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience.
