Monitor 7B

I thought in my readings that Monitor 7B's had the MW6502 driver (I have Peerless tweeters) . Recently one of my drivers went bad, after I pulled it from the cabinet I noticed it had no markings on it. There is a small Polk logo on the front rubber surround, but nothing on the back magnet indicating date of model. I am going to assume it was replaced at some point. I pulled the driver out of the other 7B and sure enough it was dated and marked MW6500 not MW 6502. Which is the correct model for the 7B.
I picked them up for $90 with stands, which I was happy to get them and felt the price was good as I am not a wood or metal working and having stands was a plus. The cabinets are decent, some dents on the back corners but the front corners are good. The grills are somewhat pilled and should be redone but I know that is a job my dad can do and material is not two much.
If I am stuck buying two new MW6502 I am going to be into the 7B's for over $200. Which I guess is ok, I did not buy them as an investement and would very much like to listen to them.
I guess the final question is which is the correct driver MW6500 or MW 6502 and if it is the 02. will I be Ok picking up a 6500 so I only have to replace one. Was the crossover the same for both drivers?

Thanks in advance for any advice
