Luxman T2 Tuner

I am not familiar with Luxman tuners, but one of these came up locally for sale. Ive heard some Luxman tuners are nice, and some are not. Does anyone have any info/opinions on the Luxman T2 tuner specifically? Also wondering if it is desirable, what price to pay?

Sure, I found that, the section on the T2 is pretty sparse. Anyone here own one? Or personally familiar with the tuner?

I have a T-2. I bought it used to match up to a Luxman L-5 integrated amp.

I don't use it much, and I did not get any manuals with it.

I think it is great looking and the controls have a very luxurious/quality feel to them. Some of the later Luxman tuners look and feel kind of "rinky-dink" to me.

Is there anything I can tell you about it by inspecting my T-2 tonight?

I was really just drawn to it because of the look. I have just heard that Luxman quality took a big dip in the early 80's and this being right on the cusp of that change, wanted to see where it rated. Im really not huge into tuners or radio listening, but was considering picking this up. So mainly looking for opinions on the quality of the tuner and how it rates vs other luxman tuners and vs other vintage offerings. The tuner info link has a lot of info on Luxman, but kinda skips over this model. From what ive found and the other opinions I have received, Im guessing this is a very basic, not desirable model.
