I bought this about a year ago but havent really used it much. I hooked up a turntable and it sounds great. Until the right channel started going out. Static sound and then no sound out of the right channel. Both front and rear speakers. This was out of phono 1. Hooked up to Phono 2 and everything ok. So ifigure something in the right channel Phono 1 connection.
Any ideas??

Pull the cover and check for a cold solder joint on the rca plugs for phono 1. If both phono 1 and 2 are the same, ie not set up seperately for MM or MC cartridges then just use other phono input. You could try using some deoxit on the bad jack. IF you can will the rca jack and get sound out of it, it sounds like a intermittent bad connection inside the unit.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.

spay the jack?
Try spaying the front panel selector switch.
That or a solder joint loom as the most likely problems."The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." --Thomas Jefferson -
Might also check the RCA center pin tension on the phone 1 input for right channel.Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)

Took cover off and deoxit on rca jacks, front panel selector, speaker connections etc. Fired it up and it is now working.
Now lets see for how long.
If deoxit was all it needed then I am givin props to deoxit!I got static in my head

good to hear romeo, if it happens again I'd bet it's a solder joint- enjoy the music2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.

Now I am actually noticing a slight channel imbalance. The right channel is now stronger than left. Not a whole lot but definitely noticeable and viewable wth VU Meter.
Changed cables etc, same prob phono and aux (cd).
Any ideas what might cause and how to fix?I got static in my head
