Political Correctness'.........defined

"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."

Yep. This is why I say that class action lawsuits are pointless. The claimants get essentially nothing while the lawyers get rich.

I was offered to get onboard 2 of these things, but when I did the math, I realized, between the lost wages of taking time off to testify, and travel expenses, at BEST, I'd break even.
    Needless to say, I declined.

I'm always getting 'invites' for class action suits against companies regarding their stock prices. Last one I got was the usual -- company supposedly misrepresenting this or that, and when it eventually became apparent, their stock took a dive. Silly people doing the lawsuit failed to realize that I was actually short the stock, and made money when it fell.

Looks like a typical "sharks are in the water" blood frenzy, it makes me sick.

....in fact .... anybody else feeling a little nauseous ? If so, we could all get together and sue somebody !

There's whole law firms who devote their time to data mining, looking for information that shows that some company did something that wasn't 100% perfect, thereby "damaging" their clients.
In the Gulf Coast case, it's sad that the people who really have been hurt are about to get shafted again.

BTW: Although I only took 5 minutes to read through this thread, I block my time in allotments of 15 minutes so, at $500 an hour, I'm owed $786.45 for reading. It took an additional 5 minutes to post this reply, so that's an additional $688.83, for a total of $16,193.12. Balance due within 30 days before penalties apply.
