Well I just got my copy's of Aenima and 10,000 days from the website that Face (Mike) posted www.SoundStageDirect.com, I am very sure these are bootlegs just like the ones you see on eBay. I had done some reading on these a few years ago but I tonight I found a website covering the TOOL bootleg vinyl.

http://toolvinyl.com/fake-tool-vinyl-guide/

And low and behold the copy's I received today are on this list, Don't get me wrong I figured they would be as I have followed what the original copy of Aenima goes for (sealed copy can reach $400) as well as what is released by the band anyway. But I thought I would give these a try as it seems Mike is happy with his copy's.

I will say one thing they did a great job on the packaging, I have yet to play mine I hope to clean them and take a listen this weekend.

Yup, mine are bootlegs too. But the Lateralus is legit. I guess I knew they were bootleg anyway since Tool has never release Aenima or 10,000 days on vinyl.

They released Aenima back in the day but getting your hands on an original copy can be expensive..

The Vinyl was released before the CD in 1996, I think a month apart if memory serves me right..

It appears my "Aenima" on vinyl is legit.

That's just like the one I got. I don't think the original came with colored vinyl.

I played mine last night and it sounds fantastic, Bootleg or not they seem to be pressed right..

I got the same thing. It's a very good bootleg. Found an original in a shop today for 400. Debating about it.

I don't know man. It's Tool. Plus $400 wouldn't go too far in my system.

It would go far buying non-collectors vinyl.

So true. I probably won't do it. I just spent the money on a new base and acrylic shell for my TT. Back to saving.
