Okay, started checking something on the Interwebs, got side-tracked as usual, and wound up in the "How'd I get here ?" section.

Came across this:

http://www.finishline.com/store/catalog/product.jsp?productId=prod685370

Now, maybe it's just me, but ..... is there something wrong with this ?

I had a girlfriend who had webbed feet. No, I'm not kidding either.

Why is the "baby" toe section as bi as the big toe section? who has two big toes on the same foot?
Maybe Fila means 4 in the sweatshop these were made in

I think I'd wear these while out doing small yard work, or outdoors washing the car. Cool find. Japanese love these, along with the toe socks. Think ninjas guys.

This is a "forward" looking design. Anticipating the loss of the little toe which is probably going to disappear in couple of million years or so. No?

They're supposed to match the SIX finger gloves in the same style and colors! Evolution marches on!

I have an older version of the same brand, I think. Your pinky toe and its neighbor go into the same slot. I use them as my river shoes, they are excellent for canoing. Good grip on rocks, and when your getting in and out with the boat.

Didn't think I'd fess up, eh??

Those shoes look functional and better than some of the current stock at stores.
I found these and did a second take, if these are real they're unusual. Don't know if these are but look real.

I know the design looks retarded, but there's actually a reason for it. A company who invented this kind of shoe (can't remember who) put a patent on the design, so a way for other company to copy but not be the same was simply having four toes instead of five.

I heard this from someone who works in a shoe department though so who knows if this is actually true:wink:
