Looking to run one of these to some Polk LSis but want to make sure it's 4-ohm stable before I purchase one. If it is, any idea how many watts it makes at 4-ohms? THANKS! I was also considering making a dual-fan using heavy duty computer case fans to cool the amp if I will be running it at 4-ohms. Think this will help? THANKS!

I've never had any experience with the MM9000 but I have read that it's more comparable to an amp section found in a receiver.

Will it work in 4 ohms? Probably. Will it sound good at 4 ohms? Try it and see.

If you looking for a budget five channel amp to run LSi's try a Rotel RMB-1075 or even it's predecessor the RB-985, which can be had used for around $500.

It's got some heft, a good sign. But the power draw concerns me a bit. Seems a bit light for a 150 x 5 watt amp...

See if you can get a 4 -ohm rating and a current capacity. If the specs are around 225 and 40 amperes per channel respectively, or better, then I would say it's stable.

As for the fans... if you have to add them for 4 ohm operation, I'd say you picked the wrong amp...
    More later,
