Man I WISH I was. No Vegas trip this year (dammit) too many other commitments. Enjoy for me, please.

UGH, just found out Carlos Santana will be starting a Vegas concert run two weeks after i'm in Vegas. UGHHHHH!

odd, that the time i'm in Vegas there are no "acts" I am interested.. it's like every major act with the exception of Elton John is leaving the strip that week.. WTH?

Anyway, what are must see's that I should take in while there? Best casino, best buffet, awesome cool bar/lounge?

On the plus side, it should mean cheaper hotel prices.

Beatles LOVE (Mirage Hotel), even if you don't like them. Book your shows at Vegas.com. If you wait until you get there, you won't be able to book anything. Walk the strip, so many cool bars, buffets, too many to mention. Stop by Sammy Hagars Cabo cantina for the best Margarita you'll ever wrap lips around.

Search "vegas" here on CP, there's tons of info from many (including myself) who are Vegas veterans.

You have to work hard to find a bad show in Vegas, so if something looks interesting---go for it!

BTW April is usually PERFECT weather for Vegas, get some good walking shoes.

Things like best casino, best buffet, are somewhat dependent on where you will be staying. I will echo steveinaz's recommendation for the Beatles LOVE show. It is amazing. I didn't like the Beatles that much before seeing the show, and have a new appreciation for their music now. Other good show's I've seen are Blue Man Group (Venetian) and Ka (Treasure Island). Last time in Vegas I enjoyed gambling at O'Shea's on the strip. It's a dingy and a little grimy, but it was cheaper than gambling at the Palazzo, where I was staying and it was walkable from there. I like the buffets at the Wynn and at Aria very much. Other restaurants I really like are Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill (Caeser's Palace), and Carnevino (Palazzo). As stevinaz stated, you need to get outside if you will be there in April. The weather should be just about ideal.

Budget yourself on gambling; set an amount, and once you lose that amount find something else to do. Playing Blackjack (correctly) can give you a lot of playing time on a $100 investment, if you know what you're doing. Don't be afraid to learn. In the early morning, the dealers are more than happy to teach you how to play. Just tell them you are new at it. Blackjack is not only easy to learn, it's one of the smallest house advantage games in the casino. Search youtube for "Vegas blackjack" and get your learn on. There have been times where I've played over 6 hours on a $100, on a single-deck $10/hand table. Try to make a $100 bucks last 1 hour on the one-arm bandits; good luck.

Keep mind, casino blackjack is different from "kitchen table blackjack."

Have a great time! Where are you staying? If you're flying in, you can have the hotel pick up your bags right at the airport. VIVA LAS VEGAS BABY!!!!

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I found somewhere that here at https://syndicate.casino/en-ca they will give you ten free game money and moreover, you will get there some free spins. I hope that they have good customer service. Some gamblers like free tournaments that they can play whiteout money. What about that casino? Who knows?
Do they have a massive selection of slots and games?  As for me, I generally like casinos for their awesome promotions and a huge variety of slots. I hope to find all that here
