I hope they don't also make machete's because that would mean their blades suck. Wonder if the junk in the background in his office are from his previous venture pursuits.

J/K. Great commercial. The site does look legit. I use an electric though.

That is interesting. I usually buy my blades from Costco, but it still runs me roughly $60 a couple times a year for blades. I might actually check this out. At $6 a month, can't really lose. Plus I can probably share them with my wife (well, not share - give her a few of mine..lol)

I am with you glowrdr. I am a little cheap when it comes to blades. I but the most expensive, but I keep using them until it is to painful anymore.

Seems legitimate. It was featured on the morning news broadcast here (as a funny news story, not as a commercial).

I still prefer better quality blades, so I don't think I'll bother trying it, but if you're buying Bic, or mid-range twin blade alternatives, this might be good enough. It's amazing how new technologies have made this commodity so comparatively expensive in recent years.

EDIT: actually, I just watched the commercial and visited the site. They left out the "fxxking great" part on the news this morning! The more sophisticated models look as though they might be worth a try!

Forgot to mention: thanks for posting, avelanchefan, so that we could view the full version, not just the truncated version. It's hillarious!

Yeah, I'm not interested in the $1 ones. lol - I'd try straight edge shaving first I think. I currently use Mach 3 blades. I went with the Mach Fusion for a bit, but I found it had a couple too many blades, and wasn't able to be cleaned well. The mach 3 is the middle ground for me for durability and comfort.

I'd probably stick to the same type, with the middle brand. I see you get 4 replacements a month for $6, and the $9 ones you only get 3 a month. I like the idea of just grabbing a new one each week. Mine currently last me a couple 2-3 weeks. I'm a little lax in shaving to say the least. I don't shave because I'm a professional Monday - Friday. I shave on Friday... cause it's the weekend.

Disposable razor blades are right up there with printer ink when it comes to margins. I would definitely give this a try if I used a blade. I've tried just about every blade and electric known to man, and the only thing that works for me is a cheap-**** single-screen Braun Series 1. Usually replace it every two years or so with another series 1, so I'm doing pretty well I think.
