It's that time of year again. But this one is special. I get to see Alison Krauss & Union Station! Anybody that is even semi-near Wilkesboro, NC should consider attending this one, but get your tickets soon for Sunday, I'm sure with an act like Krauss they will sell out quick!     I went in '05 and '06, and have to say that it is by far the best festival I have ever been to. The only thing that matches the world class line up of musicians is the hospitality of the locals. It'll be the first festival I take my boys to in a couple of years; hopefully Doc will still be around!

    Everyone should be able to listen to the live streaming at wncw.org/listen-live, of course I don't have to do that, I've just got to grab a brew and take a seat on my deck! This starts today, and will go on through Sunday. Tune in on Sunday from 4:00 - 5:30p for Alison Krauss live. Merlefest.org has the lineup/schedule if there is something you'd like to hear.
