It happened to one of my best friends of 25 years.
Lost him and his son.

    Truely sad.....but what parent wouldn't give their life for their kids if called upon ? Terrible it had to end like that. Prayers sent for his family.

    Tony the sad thing is there are several parents that could careless about their children these days.

    Your probably right Chris, but one can hope in such a situation, any parent would do the same to save their child.

    Anyone would have done the same thing no doubt.
    We should honor guys like this that spend their whole life defending our freedoms.
    Which we do on this forum, and it is much appreciated as far as I am concerned.

    Reminds me of a tragic story here where a man (Non-military) went to work the night shift and his whole family perished in a house fire while he was at work. His wife, mother and children. Can't imagine how he will get by. So I sympathize for the family and friends in this situation... I would rather die trying.
