Pioneer VSX-D1S AVR
Receiver is in very good condition and comes complete with the original factory box, manual, remote, and all the original accessories. No scratches or dents. This was Pioneer?s flagship audio-video receiver when new and had a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $1,600. While it is not Dolby 5.1 (Pro-Logic), it has specs that are exceptional even by today's standards. Excellent for stereo playback and is a living legacy to the quality Pioneer used to put into their battleship receivers of the 80's and 90's.
One of the best Pioneer receivers of days gone by. The VS-D1S packs a whollup at 130 watts per channel with clean audio power at an amazing .005% THD (try to find that now days).
As a comparison, my current Pioneer Elite SC-09TX (MSRP $7,000) flagship receiver has 140 watts per channel at .05% THD.
The VSX-D1S has plenty of I/Os and weighs in at 34 lbs.
Fully-tested and ready to go.
The only bad thing about this unit is that the remote is worn and flakey at times (but still does work). My suggestion would be to replace it or use a universal remote.
Here are the specs:
> 130 Watts Per Channel continuous RMS min. at 8 ohms, from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz with no more than .005% total harmonic distortion.
> Dolby prologic surround DSP. 5 Sound field control simulated suround settings
> Pre-Amp outputs
> Multi-room and source
> Independent tone control of front, center, rear channels
> Front speakers terminals ~ A, B
> 12 inputs/outputs
> Dolby pro logic with Stadium; Simulated Stereo and Dolby Surround Pro Logic effects settings.
> Dimensions: W. 16 1/2" x H. 6 1/2" x D. 17 3/4"
> Weight: 33 lbs. 6 oz.

Asking Price is $100 + actual shipping cost
This unit can also be picked-up locally in the Toledo, OH area or in the Chicago, IL area as I will be traveling between the two areas over the next few weeks. I will be selling more nice used vintage Pioneer audio/video equipment over the next few days and will post it here for the Polkies first. If there are no bites, it's off to eBay.
Thanks

Is this receiver still for sale?
-
Hello Last fighter or anyone interested,
I have the exact same receiver, no box or remote, but in working condition. It has very minor scratches. I am too asking $100.00 plus exact shipping. I also have a couple related items that are used with the receiver an ADC sound shaper Mod. sb 55, Pioneer expander Mod. ss450x, pioneer ct-w802r cassett deck, pioneer dsp echo system mod. ma-990. These items are also for sale. Pictures and more info on request. -
