Poor Dave has 5 different threads going trying to put this rig together. A ton of information has come his way, some jiving and some conflicting.
I can see confusion at every other turn.
Dave, you're looking at roughly 2.5-3K worth of purchase here from all the advice and equipment options thrown at you from these 5 threads. I guess just take it slow, it's tough when you're not in the know, I'm there myself on tons of issues in the HT world.
My advice, if you were to ask, is tally up the pros and cons here from the members suggestions, taking heed to especially those with personal experience with the equipment you're looking to buy.
And then hold on tight, the rabbit hole is deep and wide.Source: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2

Welcome to Club Polk, Dave!I'm running an HT only rig with the RTi A7's, CSi A6, FXi A6's and a DSW Pro 660Wi off an SC-37 and there is absolutely no need for a separate amp. Save your money for better cables.
Regardless, w/that xtra high ceiling, you have a LOT of space to fill. So give your sub choice the same careful consideration you're giving your LCR & electronics. The sub does all your system's "heavy lifting." I heard an otherwise great system, Onkyo powered BTW, w/a sub that wasn't up to the task. Disappointing to say the least

(Sorry if this derails this thread even for a moment)
Can anyone watching this thread tell me what happens when you move magnet around a coil of wire?
Or *a coil of wire around a magnet?
