Might be more interesting than it appears at first glance. Around WWII and shortly after they played with an encryption system that used records to scramble transmissions, with a corresponding one on the receiving end to descramble. Oh, there were more than a few SS TTs that were made for portabe/picnic duties. I think I recall one that "loaded" the LP the way a car CD player does so that it could operate in a moving car. I have to research that one.:biggrin:
