Hey everybody,

A couple of weeks ago, a whole gagle of forum members got RTi70's from CC for good sale prices. What were those prices?

My local CC has 2 pair of "open box" left, and are still selling for $350 each! Not quite the deal I was looking for.

I'm hoping to leverage a sale of these open box items by what some of you paid.

Thanks,
Greg

my local CC's NEVER had any deals on the RTi70's

now the 100's and 150's were alot cheaper and I remember alot of people on here getting 150's for cheap but don't really recall many people getting deals on the 70's for cheap at CC.

Fry's had the RTi70's for anywhere from ~180-200 per speaker. i was plenty happy paying 200 each for mine from Fry's.

I purchased 2 Rti70's at Circuit City for $299.00 each, new in a box, 5 days ago. They matched Fry Electronics sale price. I also picked up a Csi40 (display) for $149.97 and 2 Fxi30's (display) for $129.97 ea. I also bought the Cityadvantage protection plan for all. 1300 bucks and I finally have some speakers that do my Yamaha RX995 some justice.

my loco CC was giving away  RTi100 for $399 each. i asked the mgr if he could make me a deal. yes he said. i'll knock off a whole $10 off each one. woo hoo. i left empty handed. i didn't want any 100i's anyways.

we never got any of those fantastic deals other CC's were offering.

Thats kinda stupid.. I was in a CC last week lookin for the RTi150's.. for cheap ofcourse.. The salesman was checkin out the prices on his computer and the RTi100's came up on the screen as $199.99 a piece! i wanted the 150's OB for the same price and the lowest the manager would go was $425.00 a piece. :( Stupid cause everyone knows that the 150's were going for 400 a pair.

Anyhoo.. The CC's around be never bothered to lower the price of the 70's.. Though i did manage to get them to lower it a whole 200 a set for 600.00...Crutchfeild.com's price.

I've since return those 70's for a way better deal then i've heard around here.. I got the 70's for 175.00 a piece at The Great Indoors... Plus a Csi40 for 175 and a set of Rti30's for 175 and a PSW404 sub for 2 something..

heh if ya gots a Great Indoors.. HEAD THERE FAST! They even have LSi15's..

I went to CC (same one I bought my 150's from) to get a CSi40 and the manager would not come off the price. I quoted Crutchfields close out price of $299 and I was denied as "We only price match stores in a 50 mile radius and besides Crutchfield is selling refurbished goods"!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that sh_t? I got the 150's for $240/piece and he wont hit $300 for the CSi40..... go figure.

that's too bad. i bought my CSi40 last week at CC and they gave it to me for 299, but that was because the CC website showed that price, the store price was still 399.
