Im okay.... But nothing else is. My entire town is leveled. All of our schools. Which is where i worked. Our churches. Gas stations homes businesses. Everything is gone. My truck is totaled. National gaurd is here. It surreal. Longest day ever. Its like something out of a movie. Words cant begin to describe what ive seen today... Im very lucky and thankfull to be here. My house is standing and unscathed besides one window broken out from baseball sizr hail. So i at least have a roof over my head. Its unbeliveable. Anyways. Im okay and going to sleep now. Take care guys. Glad to be posting right now.

You in Henryville? Looks like they got it the worst... We got very lucky here in Jeffersonville. Looking at the weather radar, there was of course the huge line of storms, but with a gap between the northern section and southern section. That gap went right over us. To the north and the south there was lots of damage from wind and hail. We had one freak gust of wind that blew the gas grill off the back porch, but nothing more than that.

Glad you're ok Nick, prayers for your town and those that are suffering. We are fine in tri-cities- the worst of it was to our west and some bad cells due north on VA/TN border thru the I-81 corridor. Have family in Madison AL that got hit but everyone is ok. TennMan and OldManSRS hope you guys made it through ok.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.

Nik,
I am so sorry to hear the news. I had not heard about the tornados in Indiana until just now. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Wow Nick that is terrible. Glad you are OK man.

John, we were fine here besides some massive winds and hail.
I have grandparents, and two uncles in TN in Chattanooga near Red Bank and Lake Chickamaga so I was more scared for them than anything since a 7.7 touched down right near them.
I will give you a buzz later today since your probably still sleeping at this point"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
OK in Jasper, In. Got ugly with loads of rain and pee to quarter size hail no damage. My brother in law who is a storm spotter said they had reports of possible tornado above Huntingburg which is 8 min away no touch down.
Keeping all in prayers, GOD bless

Thanks! If id lived where i used to in henryville I would have been untouched. I live smack dab in the middle of town now. I was VERY lucky it was about 400 feet from my back porch... So lucky. Thanks for the kind words. Means a lot! -
Glad to know that you made it Nikolas. You've even made it on the local news here this morning. So ... was that you I saw making silly faces behind the reporter on camera?! :razz:Alea jacta est!
