Upgraded binding posts for S6's?

I was wondering if anyone has upgraded the connectors on a pair of S6's, S8's and so on from the clamp style to binding posts? If so, how did you go about it? I can't find a new plate with posts that will fit the original hole. Not sure if this will make a difference, but I have the urge to try it out. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

You will probably have to cut a hole to fit a new terminal cup. It is unfortunate that they cheaped out on these.

How do you like the S6? I picked up a pair of S8 to fix up and sell. Once fixed, I really like them. They are just sitting doing nothing right now but haven't brought myself to sell them yet.Stan

I really like them. They were the first nice speakers I ever bought when I was 18 and I always have had them in one system or another. Good bass response and smooth highs. I hooked them up to my Parasound HCA 2205A for fun a couple of months ago and they sounded like a whole new speaker. Have them hooked up to a Marantz SR5005 right now.
