Setting up RC60i

Installing a new pair of RC60i as part of what will be a home theater system. I am using just one for continuity testing the wiring before the drywall goes up. I have the center speaker wired as well for testing. Having never used an in-wall speaker I don't know what to expect but it I am quite worried. The center speaker sounds fine but the RC60 is barely audible and then just at high frequency. I have tested it at all my wired drops and sounds the same. There are just one pair of post to wire, what am I missing?:cry:
