I am using an onkyo htib hts-9100thx (7.1 av receiver of htib is ht-r960).
It is installed in the living area with the wall mounted plat panel.
Onkyo wooden bookshelf speakers of htib looks bulky and disturbing the movements of the children.
From polk I found a nice glossy finish speakers same like the finishing of my screen
So here i am looking for some expert recomentation for the matching receiver with TL1
TL1 100watts rating is continuous, rms, average or dynamic rating ?
please pick a best from the onkyo tx-nr609, 709 or 809

All 3 of those would drive the small TL1 speakers pretty easly. If you got the 709, or 809 you would have amplifier pre outs if you ever decided to step up to larger speakers, and external amplifers.

The 709 and 809 have Audysse Mulit EQ XT where the 609 will have the older less advanced Audysse Mulit EQ 2.

The 709 and 809 have the better remote control as well.

I would get atleast the 709.
