Well.....My friend got me a deal on the 57... and he was bugging me about it...so I pulled the trigger and bought it. Beyond getting my friend to shut up about it, He got me a really good deal and the warranty will still be good....authorized Pioneer dealer. One of my friends said I should ditch the Carvers and just use the 57 amps, I'm thinking of using the 57 amps as zone 2/3 power in the living room and patio(for 2 channel audio in both cases..).

What I would like to know.....is if the Kindle Fire will work with the Android app or if I'm going to have to buy an IPad to play with all of the cool looking stuff?

Any thoughts appreciated..as always

if you ssell the Carvers, let me know.
The Elite SC's are great receivers, but I think you will find the Carver's will still have a place in your setup.

I am pretty sure TFM45 would smoke that SC even with teh ICE amps. I would use it to power the mains via preouts.

I am not 100% sure on the fire working. I use my android phone and tablet to control my Elite VSX-32 with no issues

Depending on the price and the condition I might be interested in 1 of the tfm15cb for my center channel.

I just put the "ditch the Carvers" line as a talking point. The TFM-45 is 375x2 and sounds good doing it. The A753 is powerful but sounds a little different. I have both at a shop now for new led meter lamps. The Carvers are staying. I would also put either of them against any avr amp, hands down. I'll place money that they push harder and better.

@spec...they both look good with working incandescent meter lamps... I'll ask what the price is tomorrow...he has one bridged for center channel and another driving some surrounds.

I would put the carvers up against the SC as well and they would probably win .
