When I bought the 7C's there were a few people interested in the measurements for the stands so here it is.

Floor Base -
Width - 15.5 inches
Depth - 13.5 inches
1 inch thick fiberboard

Upright Pedestal -
Height - 7.5 inches
Width (all four sides) - 5 inches
3/4 inch fiberboard

Speaker Base (made of metal)
Width - 8 inches
Depth - 8.5 inches

Upward Angle of speaker base - 3 degrees (measured with a level). This is incorporated into the making of the metal base, not any of the wood.

There is on big bolt going through these from the top down. To tighten them I had to unscrew the speakers from the metal base. It would have been better to have a nut on the bottom with a "lock" in the top but it is what it is. I put a lock ring of appropriate size on the bolt before tightening it back down. On the bottom there is just a "T" nut. Yes, the speakers have four holes each from the mounting screws which go through the metal plate.

Sorry I don't have any pics but my camera is on the fritz. You can see a few pics in the thread where I purchased them.

I figure anyone who might want to make their own will probably just make it out of solid wood. That's what I'd do anyway, it'd probably be a little more solid and add more weight.

There is a sheet which measures the bottom of each speaker model (5,7,10) but it's only to keep the bottom of the stand based in the middle of your certain speaker size.

Hope it helps someone out!

thank you for posting these very much I do have a question. am I misreading your dimensions for the pedestal as 5 inches square? I have this photo that seems to be a factory brochure which appear to be m10's and 7's on stands . the pedestal part appears to be rectangular not square in dementions. I am goind to build a pair of stands and was just trying to match the originals. Thanks

As far as I know Polk made three different variations of stands. The ones you have pictured I did not know about, seem to be a very early variety. The ones I have are the, now, second generation maybe. The third that I know of, and owned at one time, were taller according to the speaker used. I.E. - If you had smaller monitors they were taller, bigger monitors shorter. This third style didn't have one big pedestal in the middle. There were two or three thin ones depending on which model monitor it was. It would be interesting if someone actually had all three variations of the stands though.

Yes, each side of the pedestal is 5 inches, for a total of 4 sides/5 inches each. Sorry about that, I should have specified it more clearly.
