Seeking an MCS 3865 or NEC AUA-8000e integrated amplifier. Either will do.
I'm looking for one in excellent condition in either color (silver or black), but most preferably black if I can find it, with all parts included. Would also like to have the 3710 tuner to go with it if you have it, but that's not absolutely necessary.
Please let me know if you have one you would entertain selling or know of one being available. I'll be watching this post and for PMs.
Thanks very much!!

Why these particular units...there are tons of good integrated amps from that period of time. Yamaha, Sansui, etc.
It's also unlikely anyone would have either of these here.
cnhCurrently orbiting Bowie's Blackstar.!
Polk Lsi-7s, Def Tech 8" sub, HK 3490, HK HD 990 (CDP/DAC), AKG Q701s

Because they are well built and I like the way they sound. I know there are other units, I've listened to several, but for now this is the devil that I know and am looking for. I have another MCS/NEC integrated that I like a lot, so I'm going to try to stay in the family.
As for anyone here having them, I know that these units aren't exactly hanging-out all over the place because they're pretty old, but they do turn-up and people do have them, maybe not even in current use. In fact two of them were for sale here in this forum within the last 2-4 months and I missed both of them! Paying attention to other things then. One will come from somewhere soon! -
I have a silver one. Works great aside from the needles being stuck. Great sounding and well built amp.

got 1 i'm. going to put on ebay soon black with rack handles near flawless cosmetics and in great working order looks new inside.
what makes them special is they are true dual mono blocks with a special type of output transistors that are quite expensive.
I would rate these units at 120wpc into 4 ohms.
