Building Speaker enclosures for my LCi series in walls

I am going to build enclosures for my LC80FX speakers as well as my LC65i's and will be mounting them all in my ceiling. There is an attic space above the ceiling and full access to where all speakers will be mounted. After more reading today, I did find a, what I assume to be a discontinued enclosure (since Polk doesn't advertise it on their site) that was a different style (more cubical in shape compared to their elongated in wall style they are selling currently). It had the dimensions of the exterior listed. Is there a method you would suggest to calculate the volume that I could use in conjunction with the exterior dimensions? When calculating volume, what do I need for driver information? Just the driver size? Are tweeters included in that calculation? My LC80FX has an 8" driver. The LC65i's have a 6.5" driver. Could I use the same MDF built box with just a different cutout for the two different styles of speakers?

If you need to find volume on a cubical just multiply interior heigth x width x length than divide by 1728 (convert like 1.5 feet to 18 inches) .
OR
there are lots of free calculation websites for speaker volume rockfordfosgate.com and maybe 12volt.com yes its car stereo stuff but numbers are numbers .
If that discontinued cabinet has outside dimensions you still need to know what the wall thickness is .
If you simpley open up the hole to 8" from 6.5" and the box is a differant size it will sound bad based on how far off the correct size was .
