I just picked up a second hand pair of FxiA6.

I want to place them in dipole, in 42" high stands. I did not see any marking saying left or right and no arrows.

So how do I place them ? Is the woofer to be put towards the TV side or the opposite side

Sorry if this is a stupid question

They should have a sticker on the back under the binding post plate. Anyway, I have mine on the back wall, in dipole with the driver towards the side wall.

They don;t have anything on the speaker, I checked everywhere. I will have mine on the sides at 90 degrees to the listening position, so should it face the screen or the back

IIRC the woofers should face the screen if on the sides and the opposite wall if in the rear. If you install them on the side walls, try to get them somewhat behind you.

    OK thanks.

Thats confusing, cos the listening position is 90 degrees, so as per the comment above, should I place the surrounds a little back from the listening position.

If I cannot place them behind due to constraints, then where should the woofer face ?
