Last week we got debs petscan results about her bone cancer, and it was as good as anyone could reasonably expect, we are so relieved.

And almost as a reward, this coming week, im getting the adcom gfp 750 preamp from cstmar on monday, my recapped dcm time windows back from the shop on tues., sometime this week, the rega mini phono pre im buying from starkiller, and wed. night i go for a sleep study at the local hospital.

Hell, 4 outta 5 aint bad.

Good news all around. Congrats on the toys too.

Sleep study ? Just be carefull man, those places are notorious for trying to get you to spend a g note on their contraptions, that most insurance companies won't cover.

Good to hear good news. Congrats on everything. I had one of those sleep tests. Not worth the effort IMO. Told the Dr i can't sleep in those conditions. He seemed to agree.

Chumlie, my worrys exactly, im usually getting drowsy about 2am,and im supposed to be there at 8pm.

Hopefully ambien will help, im hoping to get cpap, insurance will cover it after sleep test results.

I had the same problem, working 2nd shift. Trust me, ambient will not help. Good luck though. Thats why Dr pretty much agreed was waste of time. Sleeping like i do. it comes in 2 to 5 hr incraments. 5 if i'm lucky. Plus i will not take pills for sleep.

Yep, Melatonin works great.
Its the main reason you have problems staying awake after Thanksgiving dinner (turkey).:cheesygrin:
