Has anyone even ever heard of these? Right now they are my rear speakers and I think they've become defunct.

didn't mean to be flip ... Circuit City has them on their web site and in the store nearest me. FWIW, when I got mine the price on the sticker in the demo room was $99 ea. but in the computer they came up at $79 ea., new (not open box).

I've had a pair for quite a while...my first surround speakers. I have them sitting in my fleamarket box now... good speakers...for some applications:cool:

are they of the outdoor variety?

If you ever get around to selling them, I might very possibly be interested.
