I am considering sellin my MLs as I do not feel they have the mids I'm Looking for. I've been told that the adcom 5800 might not be enough for them. I am considering trying a new amp before I sell them. Any recommendations?

I think your panels may be shot my friend? When the panels are at the end they play very low and its too hard to make them sing because you should be hearing the best mids ever with the stats

For amps you should be looking at somthing thats really going to dig down for music and a good amp would be an anthem mca20 because it can really pump the speakers full of 4 and 2 ohm punches to stop them highs from rolling off . I know how you feel because the bigger the logans the more juice it takes to bring them to life.I have an emotiva amp I just bought some ML Vista and it was ok for the source but was not great but with the Vista its a terrible amp to play music on and the speakers sound horrible and anemic with the emotiva amp

I use a yaqin mc10l with the ML vista and it really sounds great for the mids and thumping bass so maybe you should try a tube integrated ? If not try a Anthem mca20 or if you can get hold of a sunfire amp they are fabulous with electrostats too. McIntosh amps seem to be a favorite with stat owners but the price on them is sky high. You need quality for ML electrostats so you should also consider Krell too..... Falconcry has some krell gear for sale maybe shoot him a pm

Seeing that the Sequels are only a 6 ohm/89db speaker, you shouldn't need gobbs of power for them. Have you tried different positions with them ? Try a different source or cabling ? Have you hooked them up without the amp in the equation ?
