Installed a HID BI-XENON conversion kit on my 04 dodge 1500 last night and took it off this afternoon. I was told by seller at Amazon that kit would work just fine HA!!! It worked at start up but after about 10 min. low beam started to strobe real bad, hi beams worked great. I was told I need a CAN BUS canceller to get rid of strobe but they couldn't tell me with any truth if it would fix problem.

I did some research on problem and everything I have read tells me that I must place resistors and caps in line before bulb and this would fix problems. So I must hack away on a kit that was PLUG AND PLAY ??? I don't think so.

I contacted seller and want to return and get money back!!!!:evil::evil:

    Those lights annoy me,just saying.
If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

I agree with Decal. I had the bi-Xenon in my Acura, and I've got regular old Xenon in my Infiniti. If a car was made for it, it isn't too bad. You start throwing stuff like that on behicles not equiped and it's trouble. The housing just isn't made to narrow the band of light, so realistically it's like driving with your highbeams on all the time

Unfortunately no. You may want to look into retrofit housing. That will give you the HID setup, with the proper lenses. Not sure what your looking to spend though.

My TL had cleared headlights, with a ZKW lense swap. I think in the end I spent just over $1200 to mod them. I know a direct retrofit solution should only run you 3-400 though.

Something like this - http://hidillusionz.blogspot.com/2010/11/dodge-ram-fx-r-e55-hid-retrofit.html I found someone that had these, and he said he paid 600 for them. But that included custom paint, and he added halos and a bunch of other crap to them. It's all custom though, so you can really do what you want.
