Excellent Tubed CD Player with an excellent built in headphone amp! I had considered keeping this for my bedroom since you could have this player and a nice set of cans and not need anything else! VERY nice sound.
Anyways I'm asking $525 and I'll include shipping and insurance

Simply because my lifestyle doesn't support it. I'm extremely wrapped up in my work for the near future and my listening sessions are squeezed into 15 minutes here 45 minutes there. I don't have time to sit down for 2 hours and listen (at least not more than a couple times per month). This being said, tube components just arent conducive to that. I found that the tube players sounded best after a good 10 minutes of warm up. They did sound pretty good off the bat, but a tad thinner. Also turning them on and of three times a day makes me susceptible for very short lifespans on the tubes. I initially thought I would keep one tube player and one SS, but the truth is that I'll never use them both as much as I'd imagine. I bought 4 CD players for the purpose of my demo and I'm keeping one. But the truth is that my decision is mostly a lifestyle one and not one based on sound necessarily. Every player I had was super enjoyable. It all comes down to how an individual listens. This was my and my friend joe's favorite tube player, Erniejade and my wife liked the Jolida most. I think the fact that this one plays HDCDs and has a head-amp make it a steal, and i personally found the sound characteristics a very happy blend of tubey warmth and SS detail. Again, my choice here was one of convenience. Otherwise I would have kept them all
I really like this player. Especially after popping a couple Amprex goldpins in it.design is where science and art break even. -

Maybe this is better suited for the 'gon. The sell for $550-$650 + shipping all day over there, but I wanted to skip the fees and pass the savings onto my polkie brethren. I'll give it a little longer.design is where science and art break even. -

about off to the gon. Any takers on this player?
I'm kind of blown away there haven't been any takers on these CDPs. I know there are a lot of people that could really up their source. It's funny that people spend so much time upgrading amps when often they affect the system 1/10 the amount a good sodesign is where science and art break even. -
