polk audio pa 880

I have purchased two 12 inch polk audio 1240 subwoofers and a polk pa 880 amplifier, just curious if these subs sound as well as the dealer informed me? I was also cousrious if this setup is stable at one ohm. I am new to polk products so im not sure if these particular subwoofers sound best in a sealed or ported enclosure. Also wondering if polk is true wattage product like the amplier listed above says 800 watts max is this acurate or are they over or under rated. looking forward to any and all information someone may be able to give.
