I hope I'm in the right section for this topic.

Well, someone were giving two sets of speakers and I cannot seem to find anything on them; well not much info to begin with lol. I picked them up, they were priced VERY well  lol.

So first off is a set of Large speakers. I haven't opened them up yet so I don't know if they're 2 or 3 way. But guesstimate to be upwards of 20in; maybe closer to 30in in height. About 18in width. They're brown and the only thing written on them is Orbit IV

Next is a pair of bookshelf sized speakers. There are no badges or brand/model for that matter. All I got are some pictures:

The bookies look like Realistics. That tweeter is a piezo built by motorola usually for them. I am guessing they are MC series from the late 70's early 80's.

I don't see the other speakers your talking about.

    Joe,

Hmm, I was thinking along the same lines too. I just can't find any pics to possibly visually match or come close to it. From photos that I've looked at on vintage Realistics, they have the older bare screws to attach the speaker wires in the back. However, mine have the spring loaded squarish red/black fasteners. Could possibly have been replaced, I don't know.

As for the other speakers, I haven't had time to take them apart. The front grill cover doesn't come off so I have to unscrew the whole backing.

I looked through the Realistic catalogs from mid 70's to 80s, none have the screen over the tweeter like the ones I have.

Okay, so I got to open up the larger set, and it is a three-way speaker. The mid has "Dynamic Speakers Corp" written on it. I don't see any dates or years. I'll keep digging into it.

    So
Dynamic Speakers Corp (out of California)

says Orbit IV in the front
