Hello Everyone, I'm new to the forum but a long time lurker.

I have the RT400 i bought new in 98' i beleive and i love them. I recently purchased a 60" Panny so now i'm looking to upgrade my HT. I have the original center speaker - I think CS101 or something small and it doesn't cut it. The Polk CS rep recommended the CSi A6 for my center but honestly, i'm on a budget and not sure if i'm ready to drop $400 on a new center right now. I've been eyeing the CS2 center from Newegg that they run on special ($120)and even POLK's site reccommends that for my RT400. http://www.polkaudio.com/education/showanswer.php?question_num=63

I emailed Polk and this is from one of their reps
This is from the POLK CSR "I disagree with that page, the RT400 used the MW8002 driver, which is also used in the RT7, which is recommended to be used with the CSi A4, which is part of the CSi series? The CSi A6 would be the best choice as it has the 6.5? driver that matches that of your 7.5? on the RT400 better than the 5.25? drivers from the CSi A4."

I think the CSi A6 would be a better purchase but how bad would the CS2 be? Does anyone here have the CS2 with the Rt400's? I may upgrade down the road to the Monitor 60's or 70's but for now I'm sticking with my RT400's

I have owned the RT400,and i have also owned the M70's! The CS2 was a great match for the RT400's! Do yourself a favor,DON'T SELL THE RT400'S! They are in my opinion, far better than the M70's! Wish i had mine back! I have a CS2 for sale here in the forum for $80,like new condition! Either way,Those RT400's are a gem! Just my $.02!
