4 ohm speakers (LC65i) with 6-8 ohm receiver

Hi!

My mother has a 8 ohm receiver capable of 6 ohm connection, but with a high THD (something like 0.7%).

I know it isn't a good idea, but I would like to know if the LC65i speakers really are 4 ohms, or is it more like it's LSi7 counterpart who rarely drops under 6 ohms? She would only run one pair of speakers (those one) even if she has a 7.1 receiver. I know that's dumb, but that's what we bought her a few years ago thinking they could run the HT in dual-zone.

As the LC65i pair is half the price of a pair of Vanishing Series LS (8ohm rated in-wall LSis), I don't know if it's a good idea to use it with this receiver or should we go with a safer bet (another brand, rated at 8 ohm). I don't think she'll drive them hard, but we never know.
Speakers: Polk Audio LSiM 705, LSiM 703, LSiM 704c
Receiver: Denon X3500H

Not really a good idea unless mom has a pretty beefy receiver, which I doubt. Stick to an 8 ohm speaker and live with no worries.
