Does time go by faster and faster as you get older?

I don't have enough hours in the day but yet weeks go by...

I know i'm wacked but ****, am I the only 1?

Sure seems to go by faster... I think it's a matter of building a little momentum for that leap at the bottom of the ramp...

I think it all comes with understanding. The awareness of one's self and the increase of responsibility. *philosophizing..dude* I too am experiencing this. At only 24, I can see the time shift. Is this because time runs differently at alternate altitudes? Because I'm above 6 feet now, I'll see time differently? Probably not..considering I'll stay this height for a while and time will run quicker. So what is it? Is it the loss of enjoyment of simple things?
Do we require more momentum in the things we enjoy? Did we forget to stop and smell the roses/speakers?

Okay I'll take a short break over lunch and offer a theory on the perception of time. I once had it explained to me on an airplane ride by an anounymous seat mate. His take on it is the best I have ever heard and seems to make very good sense. When you are 2 years old and you live another year, the new data from that new year's experience represents an increase of 50% of what was there before and hence seems large (or in other words long in time). When you are 50 and you live another year you are only adding a 2% increase to the data in your head and hence the information seems small (or in other words short in time). I think everyone has the perception of life speeding up on them as they grow older. Some of it can be attributed to your schedule becoming busier as well. In my experience though that contributes to the paradox of time perception being that so much has happened in the last week that last Monday seems like a long time ago but as has been discussed here, years seem to pass by faster and faster.

I hope to land in purgatory... this way, I can still have fun. I'll just pay for it on the back end:D

BTW, i am on modem right now and appreciate the removal of download intensive attachments. Never the less I would like to say it was WAY Cool!

I just fired up the AI preamp and I have no noise. The dog panting and the intermittant computer fan is less than 40dB. I took the Outlaw from the theater and am torturing it in the Cave which i call StoneHengeToo:D
