F1, any other info available from the source you got the info from? Is this the 2001 deluxe edition with the full Leeds performance, or the original 1970 release with 6 tracks, or maybe one of the other 2 releases?
-
All I know is that it will be sourced from the original UK masters and it's a two disc set. Not sure what's going on the second disc.Political Correctness'.........defined

Although I don't have gear that can play SHM-SACD, I enjoy reading about the releases of quality classic performances.
I have a question: do the manufacturers usually have a limited production run of **** units, and that's it ? Or do they keep production runs open depending on sales ?
There surely must be a large enough demand for "Live at Leeds" to keep production going, I'd like to think. If this were vinyl, perhaps the mechanics might limit runs, but lasers don't exactly wear out.
I ran the lastest review from the link F1 posted in google translator to see if there was some sort of explanation, and found the phrase, "Place may not be SHM-CD. ?
Now, I don't know if 不明 knows what he's talking about, but if some "shortcuts" were taken in production, would knowledge of this cause a halt ? Not casting any stones, but .... ?
Just hate to think demand was so low that the manufacturers quite the release. That'd be kind of .... sad.
Here's 不明 's review:
It is amazing comments in English. But propaganda cheers for hard work, now, then we recommend more if you buy 2-Disc Special Edition. Modification of the original specification is usually, but the results tend to be bad, That was an exception. Place may not be SHM-CD. "Candy" music these days is "sound toys" Do you not taken grave turned into the way? I sew an added bonus to the original and added value, with priority given to "price maintenance", which has become quite excessive.Sal Palooza -

I hope they don't clean all the energy and vibes out of that one. Best live rock album of all-time, and I'm not a big Who fan. Those people got their money's worth that night.
