Im a newbie at installing a home theater system and I'm confused about the the 2 inputs on the speakers. Im not sure how to hook it up to my receiver. As of right now these speakers are front but I only see 4 connections to them. Sorry for sounding like such a **** haha. Thanks

Hook up to either the top or bottom set of posts, just make sure that the metal strap stays there connecting both sets of posts.

In case you want to bywire or byamp them. Top post goes to the hi end, bottom to the low end. So if you take the straps out, that will seperate them. Not recomended in yout case, do as tonyb says and your good to go.

thanks for the help guys. It doesnt seem like there getting enough power from my receiver though. I figure each speaker is getting 110watts, correct? I originally wasnt going to buy this receiver or these speakers at first but it was a deal I couldnt pass up. I bought the speakers new 150 pair and the receiver was 200. They lack bass but I eventually well get a subwoofer.

Make sure the fronts are set to full range, or large, in the receiver settings since you don't have a sub yet.

I have M60s hooked up to a VSX-821. Fronts set to "large" and sub set to "no". Lacked bass at first, but as they get broken in, the bass gets better. Give them some time to loosen up and they will sound better. Now, if I can just be patient and wait for the DSW PRO 550 to go on sale again:cheesygrin:

Keep an eye on newegg.com for the sub... I really like my 660wi, it hits really hard and makes movies incredible during explosions and stuff..

If you don't know about it, check out camelegg.com to get price history on the products to make sure you are getting the best deal you can...

Newegg has pretty good prices on both if you are patient.
