r300 vs rm8 for surrounds

i currently have r300 for surrounds and was thinking of downsizing to the rm8 or mirage nanosat. mains are m60 center cs2. do the towers really have any benefit for surround, they both have 89db effiency?

    Depends....how big is the room ? Monitor 40's would be nice as surrounds.

    Why down size, or is it the sound you don't like ?
