This is a pretty cool unit - I was not sure what to expect... usually items with alot of features and flash kind of suck -
Build quality is grade A, plenty of features - although I wish I had dual main outs versus a line out and main out....
As far as sound quality - not really sure, I am running a Parasound amplifier and the Squeezebox - just on internet radio right now...
It sounds good though, no doubt!
Not a bad 2 channel, tube preamp, integrated amplifier with a DAC - cant beat it for $600 for a simple system!!

- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Wow, I can't believe that thing is $600. You have to do more tests since you have all that sweet gear. I'd love to know how it sounds on it's own (you mentioned using the parasound amp). -
The amplifier is worthless on my speakers... I would have better luck powering them on a treadmill with a mouse...
I will say with the Parasound it sounds pretty good - I will have to plug up my Klarheit II and do some serious listening comparisons...
For the money I could not find anything with a tube pre stage + dac...
Not to mention the thing is seriously a tank, everything is extremely tight fitting and crisp- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

Sweet man, please post some results when you get around to doing it. I want to know how good "pretty good" really is :P -
I will say this -
I had the Klarheit II hooked up for a moment, running some test but I am still messing around with my rack and took it back out... oddly enough the Decco 2 and the Peachtree are on the same frequency for the remote... and the Klarheit II is 100% remote operated... made it very difficult! lol
I threw in Blue Coast Audio Collection and just from initial tests I would say from a quick listen it is maybe 65-70% of the performance of my Candela/Stratos/Khartago combo... just from a presentation stand point - the soundstage was not near as wide or as defined... but the Peachtree is also not broken in.
Will run the peachtree for a few weeks and revisit - but for $600 I do not think you can go wrong... the Candela/Stratos is about 5,000 in gear so... ya know- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
