These appear to be the same item, and even though I hate shopping at Best Buy, it looks like they'll end up getting my money.

Any idea on why Best Buy can sell this product so much cheaper than what the Polk webstore is asking?

    take a look at the MSRP prices polk lists for their speakers on the website and what they actually sell them for, that should give you an idea

    actuley thy are different brands the best buy is proabley a knock off of the origonal. not meaning it s bad but might nt have the same quality of parts

    I seriously doubt a "knock-off" would be marketed under the exact same name, Sanus. Does the word "litigation" ring a bell?

    I would bet it is the same rack. Either way, buy the Sanus at BB, its a good price, decent rack. The BB version shows that it weighs more, just FYI, but I have no idea if that is relevant.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    It's the same model number.........and the C on the BB model is for cherry, which is pictured.

    Quit arguing people.....save half and go and buy it.......unless you really do just want to toss the money away, then throw it Polks way......
