It's when you use all 4 channels of your 4-channel amp to power your component speakers.
Basically each speaker (both tweets and both woofers) get their own amplification channel which helps you tune tweet/woofer ratio just the way you want it to be.2008 Nissan Altima

1) how would i be able to tune it when it through the crossover?
2) how would i know the proper rms and wouldent the ohms on the tweeter and woofer be 8 ohms??? isint that bad???
3) what are the benefits? -
1. crossover still does what it's supposed to - cross's (splits) frequencies going to each speaker. You tune your sound with gain on the amp (less for tweets, more for woofer for example) and whatever your head unit allows as far as tunning separate set of channels
2. SR tweets are 4Ohms and SR woofers are also 4Ohms. 100 RMS amp will work fine for this set up just don't "crank your gain knob"
3. See #12008 Nissan Altima

is biamping better than going active?

For the most part - active is always better but in a case of someone who just started understanding "tuning" imo bi-amp is the way to go since it'll eliminate possibly fatal mistakes which could cause your speakers to blow (too low of a frequency)2008 Nissan Altima

so how do i bi-amp my sr6500? do i just buy a pa500.4 and put all for channels into the sr6500 like front channels for the woofer and back for the tweeter and let the fillter be on full for the amp and let the crossover do the rest????

If I remember right, there is a jumper you have to pull out of the crossover in order to bi-amp. Youll hook the front channels of the amp to the tweeters and then the rear channels of the amp to the mids.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Pretty much.
Make sure you set that red jumper on your SR crossover on the right position (see manual)
Use PA500.4's front channels for tweeters and rear channels for woofers.
As for filters/crossovers - the only thing you'll need is to cut frequencies at around 60Hz be in via amplifier or headunit's crossover, rest will be taken care of by SR crossover.2008 Nissan Altima
