Tweaking the system.....
I have gone through SO MANY speaker set-ups in the last 5 years, it is hard for me to even count. But I can really say that I am quite happy right now. I have the RT55's for my main speakers, a cs400 center channel and had the RT35's serving surround duty. I just picked up a pair of FXi300's locally on craigslist to replace the RT35's. I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with their performance. Thinking of using the RT35's as a 7.1 set-up but really think its overkill. I think I could use the AVR to power the RT35's with my current setup. No?
Also, I am looking to buy a second Mirage Omni S10 subwoofer to match the one I have and try to run dual subs. Not for anything other than I REALLY want to try it and see how it works with my current set up.
I have gone from JBL, PSB, Polk, Mission, etc. and have always come back to the RT's as I have kept them throughout my journey. Pretty surprised actually in their price to performance ratio compared to other higher priced speakers.
Anyways, just wanted to share.
