need replacement drivers for Series II 4.5's?

I recently bought a pair of 4.5's that evidently were damaged in shipping. The seller is offering to give me a partial refund. I can post pictures of the front, but I don't have pictures of the speakers disassembled with me. One has a broken magnet off of the midbass driver, and one has a broken tweeter. The crossover network has also been knocked lose on both speakers. What am I looking at for replacing all drivers here?

There seems to be a rash of speakers damaged in shipping lately. The tweeter is the SL-2500. Polk customer service has a replacement (RDO-198) but you would want to replace both so they match. Let them know you are a Club Polk member for a nice discount. Or you may find a used SL-2500 around.
Remove the mid-woofer to get the part number. I think it is the MW-6502. If it is the MW-6502, I believe Polk still stocks this one. They also show up around here from time to time or on _bay.Stan

I just looked at the MW-6502 on Ebay, and the cone material has changed. This means I would need to replace both drivers to match. I have a set of Series II Model 10's, so I could buy the RDO's as an upgrade for them and use the SL-2500's out of them in the Model 4.5's.

The cone material should not have changed. These mid-woofers are a treated paper cone. The difference you see may be dust on the cone as they are slightly sticky. Most folks recommend a little Windex on a cloth to clean them.
For the price of the ones on ebay, I'd order new from Polk. I believe they are $48 free ship if you tell them you are a Club Polk member.
For the crossover, assuming there are no broken wires or broken traces on the board, you should be able to reattach components with hot glue.

Boy... You're looking at a lot more to get 'em going again than you probably paid for them in the first place. (Two tweeters + driver = $150, plus a good chance of damage to the crossovers?) Any chance of getting a full refund and calling it a day? If I were an insurance agent I'd declare these totalled.
Sorry to see this happened to you.Jay

Where abouts are you located; I think I have that same sofa. Seriously though, maybe there is a Polkie near by that can help.
