Now that there is a gap between RTi and LSiM lines...

will there be a new "LSi" line at affordable prices like before? I mean, LSiM are almost double the MSRP of the LSi, so they will probably never be an option for me except if they ever go on sale in a decade.

Are they planning a new line, or does this one totally replaced the original, and took it to another step?

And why can't we get Polk Direct items here in Canada? I would gladly pay brokerage and such...
Speakers: Polk Audio LSiM 705, LSiM 703, LSiM 704c
Receiver: Denon X3500H

Maybe they'll be a New SDA line in there!

No, there is no alternate, or lower priced version of the LSi line being planned and the SDA has been alive and well since the introduction of the SurroundBar. There are no plans for an SDA line either, sorry.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Honestly, I think discontinuing the LSi line is a big mistake for Polk. The LSis are fantastic sounding speakers, and are priced in a way that allows folks with a limited budget to experience high-end audio. However, with the LSiMs being double the price, that leaves many folks out in the dust. I know I can't afford the LSiM's, and may never be able to. This means if I ever want to setup another system, I would either have to look at used LSis or look at another manufacturer who still caters to my budget and desire for quality. Either way, Polk would have lost out on my business. But then, I also think it was a mistake the discontinue the SR line of car speakers.

The SR lineup was awesome. I'm not sure why that was discontinued but I'll find out just for curiosity.
